Who is collecting your data?

Data collected by the Success with Languages Subscription & Membership is held by Wix.com on secure servers and is not shared with any other party.

For private tuition, your personal data will not be shared unless concerns are raised under child protection where we have a duty of care to a child. In these circumstances, we have a duty of care to pass on the child’s details to the relevant authorities.

What data is being collected?

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

What will we do with your data? Do you share data?

When you conduct an enquiry on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address and telephone number. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We may contact members via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail on upcoming courses.

We may provide students with additional details of their progress, results of tests, and additional resources where consent has been given either by the student, parent or parental guardian.

Where student quotes, or exemples of work are used, written consent will be sought and kept on file.

How long is your data kept?

All data is kept for the purposes of contact.

Student’s lesson data for tuition is held for a period of up to two years following the final lesson, unless deletion is specifically requested.

Payment details are maintained for 7 years for tax purposes.

What rights to I have to see, change, or delete my data?

Members and students may request deletion of their data under the right to be forgotten by submitting a written request. This data will be deleted within 30 days. Please contact us at successwithlanguages@gmail.com.

Individuals may request an amendment to any personal details at any time to ensure that your data is correct and up to date.

​

Excluded within this right to deletion are payment details and any data relating to child protection or legal concerns raised.
